*Furyou Miko
One of the most important forces in the Imperium... and one of the least explored. They train several units for the Guard and Inquisition codices, but of their own proprietary armed force very little is known: The fact that the Sororitas have taken over Black Ship duty implies some sinister end to the Sisters of Silence. So, here's my question: How would you represent an AAT strike force in the game? Captain Idaho
Using existing models and armies in a count as capacity? Or making something up ourselves? *Furyou Miko
Existing rules in a counts-as capacity, although conversions, scratch-built bit suggestions and third party models... go wild? Captain Idaho
Hmm. I'm thinking Astra Millitarum holds best. Will have a think of possible conversions ideas. Anyone else have an idea? Kierdale
Indeed, I too would suggest IG. Take as many astropaths, primaris psykers and psyker battle squads/wyrdvane squads as you can. As for models, I used Empire Flagellants for my PBS and will convert some Empire Battle Wizards for my two Primaris. I feel the Empire range, with enough Aquilas, skulls and guitar wire stuck on it, gives a nice gothic-sci-fi look. Then again there is the =][= codex and a lot of potential for psykers and unique henchmen (who were those troops in black armour who protected the Astra Telepathica in ---Gah! What was that HH book on Terra with the astropath and hunting rogue marines?) Need my morning coffee. *Furyou Miko
Outcast Dead? Haven't read it, but it had a scared astropath on the cover with a bunch of marines around him. Kierdale
That's the one. If I have a chance I'll look it out and check about those troops.
