Heresy era World Eaters, question on conversion

So, working on a heresy era World Eaters army for 40k.

The idea behind the army is that their ship was lost in the warp during the heresy. 10k years later it emerges.

As time moves differantly in the warp, the heresy is only yestetday to this group of World Eaters. As such, they still wear their original colors, and have not totally been overcome by the bloodlust of Khorne. And still operate as a cohesive group.

Although they wear the mark of Khorne, and are gradually falling deeper and deeper into the abyss.

My question is how to convert dirgecasters with existing 40k bits that do not look so demonic.

You mean the screaming face style one on the Chaos vehicle sprue, yes? The easiest may simply be to replace it entirely, using a similar round speaker grill. There are small ones on the Cadian vox caster pack, of course, or if you can still find them I think the Sisters of Battle 'Laudhailer' would fit perfectly.

Laudhailer would work perfect. Now to try and find one. Thanks

Couldn't find a laudhailer, but did find a piece that works. It's the part that goes on top of the aegis quadgun. Cut the bottom mount off, alittle smaller then I wanted but works.
