Chief Captain Redd
I haven't used my Long Fangs from the new dex yet so I was just reading it over. But am I reading it correctly that we may have both a Long Fang Ancient and a WGPL in the same unit? Frater Cornelius
WGPL is an upgrade for any model in the unit. The wording specifically states 'any model', so yes you can have both. Why would you want to is another story though because you are inflating costs and reducing amount of heavy weapons. Chief Captain Redd
I play in a small group where I don't face much MEQ or TEQ (Tzeench, Eldar, Orks, Tau, Tyranids, Necrons) I'm the only Imperial player (Wolves/Guard/Inq/Knights) We play a decent number of 5000+ point games and I end up a lot with big nasties in my back line pretty quickly. So with my wolves units I usually like to have some capability to assault effectively. Because my backfield will normally be Fangs/guard heavy weapons/basilisk/hydra squadrons, And a few lone wolves, rune/wolf priests. So it's up to the Astartes to intercept Big nasty cc units.
