ChaoticEric
This might be an obvious answer to those of you in the know but does the effect of sanctuary and forewarning stack? I played a librarian with divination which drew forewarning and the question then arouse; if I cast it on one of my dreadknights and the dreadknight then casts sanctuary on itself, does it get a 3++? It didn't say in any of the powers that they don't stack but it just seemed a bit too powerful if they would. 3++ dreadknights are no laughing matter for opponents. Brom MKIV
I haven't pulled that one of yet but I don't see why it wouldn't. Pretty cut and dry. Lucien Eilam
Yes. Sanctuary explicitly increases an existing invulnerable save by +1. Raktra
Tau get their 3++ bull:cuss MC (with more wounds, :cusss) with less hoops to jump through, totally fine. IndigoJack
To be fair, they also have a 1/3 chance of taking a wound and still not getting the 3++ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/296714-does-sanctuary-and-forewarning-stack/#findComment-3809011 Share on other sites

It didn't say in any of the powers that they don't stack but it just seemed a bit too powerful if they would. 3++ dreadknights are no laughing matter for opponents. The same 'Blessing' cannot be stacked (so you can't put two 'Sanctuary' copies on the same unit), but different Blessings are allowed to stack. Check out the Psychic rules in the main rulebook dude, it explicitly covers this exact question. In summary; Blessings: Can't put 2 of the same, but different ones can be stacked Maledictions: No restrictions other than the normal 'no casting the same power twice from the same psyker'. Hence why 'Banishment' can be stacked on Daemon units.
