Razic
Hey guys, anyone have a simple and effective way to prime/paint the canopy cross bars for the cock pit glass and keep the glass from getting paint on it? Ive been trying thin tape but its incredibly fiddly. Grand Master Belial
I use masking tape. It is a heavier tape. I have even used painters tape but that was used on vehicles. JeffTibbetts
I used liquid masking film. Have any blutack or silly putty around? That'd work. Razic
Did you get really crisp edges with that stuff? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/296818-painting-storm-talon-cockpit-canopy-help/#findComment-3810995 Share on other sites
JeffTibbetts
Well, yeah. Don't have any pics at the mo, but it hugs the plastic quite well. You paint it on. With tape, the paint can seep under it even just a little. With film, you paint over it and then remove it. There's really no way for paint to get under it.
