Adorondak
Hi, I picked up the wolves codex a couple of weeks ago, never played them before and am putting together a shopping list at the moment to get my first 1000pts on the table. Looking at all the minis (and especially the sprues) I noticed the seemingly complete absence of meltaguns on any of the things I checked. Am I blind and just not seeing them, did they not post pictures of all the sprues from the pack box set or am I stuck having to get meltaguns from eBay if I want some in my army? Frater Cornelius
No SW box has a melta gun IIRC. You want to look at Tactical box or Sternguard. Alternatively, ebay. Vlk
Unfortunately, there are no meltaguns on Fenris... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/297014-meltaguns/#findComment-3814248 Share on other sites

Leif Bearclaw
Or you can still get the old upgrade sprue, which includes a meltagun, along with a bunch of other (somewhat less extravagant than the pack box) Wolfy bits.. http://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/Space-Wolves-Accessories-Frame Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/297014-meltaguns/#findComment-3814290 Share on other sites
Frater Cornelius
Ebay would be the cheapest in the end. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/297014-meltaguns/#findComment-3814300 Share on other sites
Adorondak
Ebay would be the cheapest in the end. If i didn't live in canada, you would be exactly right. But living in canada I have to buy at least $80 before taxes to get free shipping off the GW site (yes, I'm one of those). A $13 upgrade sprue will actually help out a lot in that regard. I usually have to order three or four paints or a couple of white dwarfs to make up the $80, now I can just keep buying that sprue to fill in the order. Plus some of the less space wolf branded stuff would look really good in the white scars successors I'm working on... Frater Cornelius
Well, I consider myself lucky to have a couple dedicated ebay bitz sellers in Germany then. Adorondak
You are both very lucky, let me tell you, the horror stories I could tell about all the canadian ebay bit sellers I've tried are insane. I mean, I don't know if they switched labels or what, but how I can order sanguinary guard wings and jetpacks and wind up with horse bits from the high elf dragon princes is beyond me. Ordering from the US bit sellers is a little bit better, at least I get the right bits, but the shipping they charge me is almost always 5 bucks or more, then the damn canadian goverment charges me anywhere from 10% to 47% of the package value just to get it across the border. Honestly, all that plus what GW themselves does to their canadian customers it sometimes feels like they are quite literally trying to tell me they would rather I take my buisness else where. (Legal Disclaimer: I haven't tried anywhere near all of the canadian bit sellers out there yet so if you are one please don't take offence! And send me your ebay store ID! I'd love to find someone reliable in canada to buy off of!) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/297014-meltaguns/#findComment-3814393 Share on other sites
Rift Blade
Try Forge World. They have a acc. bit pack that gives you flamers & melta guns & 2 heresy era missile launchers if memory serves. Jagdwulfe
Yeah, what Rift Blade said. They also have a 10 melta gun pack. Bitspudlo is also very nice. I've ordered some of their bits too ;-) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/297014-meltaguns/#findComment-3814700 Share on other sites

Semi-stunningly, the best option for me was buying the $10/5 melta-gun sprue at the LGS. They rarely go for less than $2/per on ebay, and you still usually have to pay shipping, so.... Ullr Direfang
Ebay or search for meltagun bits and you should fine at least one site that works. I know of a sketchy site that sells them dirt cheap but I am too sketched out to try and use said site..... I think it kind of funny. The SW sprue from when I started SW came with one, and it was considered one of the few places to find them then.... not so much now I guess. Good thing I have 7 of them. skeletoro
There's the forge world ones. They're not too bad at roughly $2 per gun. And I waaaay prefer the look, but that's a personal preference thing. Frater Cornelius
There is also Kromlech. Check out Grim Goblin (http://stores.ebay.co.uk/grim-goblin-miniatures), my favourite UK based ebay retailer. He's got plenty Kromlech bitz.
