Martyr Blue, the Walking Inveitable

Hi All

 

I've just finished painting my first Knight, and wanted to share with you as it's been a great model to paint! There are more pictures in my thread in the Painting forum, so if you like you may want to check that out (there's some Space Marine and Chaos in there too if that sort of thing interests you.) He needs transfers, hence the glossy sections, and weathering which will be done when my ordered weathering powders show up.

 

This Knight comes from House Erritian, an ancient order that strode the stars before the dawn of the Imperium. They are aligned only to themselves, seeing the Imperium as a folly and unsustainable, and the Adeptus Mechanicus as a pale imitation of the original Mechanicum before the Martian Schism. The Knights themselves are only treated as tools, similar to a warhorse of Old Earth, but the armour plating is kept as pristine as possible and treated with the highest reverence, as the House use their heraldry as a link to their past.
