Well the campaign I am playing in is getting ready to make me fight a Kill Team mission against a lot of grots and I have no idea what is a good strategy or force for kill team. Please help me figure out how to make a competitive SW Kill Team list. I have a fair amount of models and I can pick up more if necessary. Their Morale won't matter because they are all separate units. What else you choose is pretty much up to you. We do not have anything special like Sternguard (who are currently kings of KT). Here is my list that I ran in 6th kill team. Haven't played in 7th, but I did update the list with the new dex. He roasted more Chaos Marines than the rest of his unit killed. I've never seen sternguard do well in KT, not enough bodies. Eldar easily dominates most with mixed SW list as a close second. Holyazash Posted September 22, 2014 Author Share Posted September 22, 2014 I appreciate the info. My biggest issue is I only just joined the league and we travel in fleets. My strike fleet (1000 pts) is in the same quadrant as a scout fleet (500-999 pts) of orks. This wouldn't be an issue except he has boarding tubes that allow him to throw me into a kill team. How do I beat sheer numbers of shots against 40 or so grots? That was in 6th, haven't made a list with the new code yet I took plasma for transport cracking not ap2, because around me a few of the kill team lists have razor backs or land speeders. I agree that if you will be facing grits the fen wolves and fire are the way to be. Could make for a fast combo that is safer due to jink and poor ballistic skill is offset by twin-linked. That said does the LW count as a slot if you take the wolf guard? Since since they wouldn't count as a slot in the codex.
