cadian_shock
Hello I recently read my 1st 40K book - Yarrick Imperial Creed, by David Annandale. I enjoyed it and decided to make a formation based on the main characters in the book, and here it is http://cadianshock.com/yarrick-a-40k-formation/ Enjoy! Comments and critique always welcome! WarriorFish
We're always nice, unless you're a lowly xenos lover! ;) Welcome to the B&C CS :tu: I like a good characterful unit/list/etc but I think you need to be careful about implementing negative rules. At the least they need to be countered with some suitable boons to make the risks worth a go so I feel the formation could do with a little extra going for it to make it more appealing? cadian_shock
Good point WarriorFish. Others have said the same. The main point was to simply try this, make them accurate to how they are in the book - playable or not they are fun and fluffy. I didn't want to make them OP, or more powerful / able than they are in the book. Unsure if I should adjust this now or just leave it be, you're perhaps the 3rd person to mention this to me. Live & Learn. Thanks for reading and your input :-) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/297094-yarrick-40k-formation/#findComment-3815940 Share on other sites
Jacinda
I don't know. If he is a friend of Jeff's we should stone him just to be sure. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/297094-yarrick-40k-formation/#findComment-3815943 Share on other sites
JeffTibbetts
I don't know. If he is a friend of Jeff's we should stone him just to be sure. I'm liking that, because I am willfully interpreting it in the light of a playful jibe and not a malicious personal attack.
