Kol Saresk
Let the Galaxy Burn omnibus is the place where I read it. Noctus Cornix
Popping my head in really quick: Nurgles bloated, and unlike the other Warp Gods he is the most 'stagnate' as per his portfolio so his depiction is much more consistent then the other three. In fact, Great Unclean ones and Nurglings are just facsimiles of their god. That I have to disagree with. While yes the most common depictions of Nurgle portray him as a giant bloated monstrosity of death and disease, and of course in reality these warp beings could take just about any form they so desire, I remember in the Liber Chaotica a depiction of Nurgle by a order of nuns who dedicate their lives to curing the sick. They view Nurgle as nothing more than a simple man, perhaps a little portly, but nothing out of the ordinary. What defines him is his warm yet greedy smile and his grasping hands. When the author asked the nuns, they stated that Nurgle was the creator of disease, not the primordial retainer. Obviously this is but one of a few depictions of Nurgle, but I have always found it to be the most fascinating. After all. Nurgle is the God of life and the eternal cycle as much as he is death and decay. Brother Ambroz
Interesting Noctus, what relationship was there between Nurgle and those nuns in that story? If you recall. Noctus Cornix
Well the nuns were specialists in healing the sick so Nurgle was their greatest enemy above all others. I'd have to double check though Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/297146-the-chosen-of-2-or-3-chaos-gods-as-opposed-to-1-or-4/page/2/#findComment-3837613 Share on other sites
