It's been our army rule for the entire time I've been in the hobby. If the LAG detachment was so oppressive then nerf it! Red Thirst used to just be +1 to stregnth on the charge anyway. It's just not going to feel right playing Blood Angels without a Red Thirst rule. I've never even tried any other BA detachments because they meant I didn't have Red Thirst. Red thirst gone, supposed new BA detachment is overpriced and underwhelming, DC loadout has changed once again.
