I hope they drop the death company characters and instead make it an enhancement to make a character death company.

 

i also hope they combine the on foot death company data sheets

 

Finally, I hope they merge our captain options to the captain datasheet, either for everyone or just for us if we are a truly separate codex

I would like to see our custom captain cost a few more points but get a 2+ save to represent the artificer armour.

Is anyone else just massively deflated about losing the Red Thirst? It's been our army rule for the entire time I've been in the hobby. If the LAG detachment was so oppressive then nerf it! Red Thirst used to just be +1 to stregnth on the charge anyway. It's just not going to feel right playing Blood Angels without a Red Thirst rule. I've never even tried any other BA detachments because they meant I didn't have Red Thirst. At this point, they should have just gone for it and replaced Oath with Red Thirst for us.

I feel with you. I'm playing BA since 2nd edition and the situation right now doesn't feel good. Red thirst gone, supposed new BA detachment is overpriced and underwhelming, DC loadout has changed once again. Just meh.

I also played since 2e. And yeah I agree that losing red thirst sucks, we are blood angels, all of our models should have a rule for red thirst.
