Has someone just taken the Photoshop Filter gallery and turned it into an app? :tongue.:

Axe Mortalis looks awesome like that though.

Due to someone asking how to do a terminator army in the AA section and Jolemai suggesting the Archangels, I wanted to see just if you could fit the proper formation in at a playable points level. E.g.

  • Karlean
  • Chaplain
  • 4 Furioso
  • 10 TDA/ Assault TDA/ Sternguard/ Vanguard

All to get a force that:

  • Rolls for Reserves from Turn ONE
  • Can Re-Roll Reserves
  • D6 Scatter
  • Universal Stubborn

It's doable at 3k and actually looks like it could be BRUTAL. List is:

  • Karlean
  • TDA Chaplain
  • 4 Frag Cannon Furioso in Pods
  • 3 Squads of 5 man Sternguard with Combis in Pods
  • 4 Plain shooty TDA units
  • 2 TH/SS TDA squads
  • 1 LC TDA squad

The trick is that 4 Pods come down auto then you have re-rolling reserves for the rest on turn one... Plus 7 squads of terminators.

Between 4 Frag Cannons and 15 Combi's you should hopefully do a lot of damage...

It takes Alpha Strike to it's logical extreme. I can dig it, seeing as that is pretty much how I play.

In terms of purchases to run it though I'd need:

  • 3 Frag Cannons
  • 10 Assault TDA
  • 5 Shooty TDA

...ish. And I'm not buying another 15 Terminators :laugh.: though that said... I could probably swap in the old 9 Hand Flamer Vanguard Squad for one of em...

I need this! Finally a good excuse to assemble the rest of my terminators.

New Heresy Legion army list is leaking.

The main things for us are the assault squads got reduced a whopping 75 points and Apothecarys can take jump packs.

So for the price of a ten man assault squad before, you could even give them all combat shield and an apothecary.

That's glorious news.

Thanks to everyone, i had so much fun to paint this fella :)

... Any advice on how you did the weathering or dirtiness on the feet?

I just used some earthy coloured weathering powders (FW) applied them around the legs and feet and fix them with pigment fixer (vallejo) :)
