Today I finished 1/5 of my ETL vow. One grav biker finished, and four others well in progress. After the latest update giving us the lowest average points per pledge i'm a little embarrassed by my unit choice. Vow 2 I will swing for the fences with some HQ units.

Forgeworld graviton guns. I like the think the BA still had some locked away in the chapter arsenal from the heresy era. Same with my White Scars.

Best of all you can buy a pack of 10 which works out around £1 each, instead of the horrendous bitz-seller prices you'd normally have to pay for Grav.

Grav gun stand in's? Those were around before GW came up with their grav gun design!

Today, I got my scout squad up to the standard I would call just about finished, barring tidying and highlighting the bases.

More in my Plog!

Great conversion! I like the idea, although I'd probably cut off a SG infernus pistol and add it to his right wrist.

Your Dante could do with a sepia was to really make that gold stand out!

If not, get one of the wrist mounted ones from the SG kit and stick it on his wrist!

As for me, got some work on my ETL Vow of a small DC squad with a Thunder Hammer done! All of the base leadbelcher and most of the gold (and considering mine are gold crosses instead of red, that's a fair bit!) done :)

And to followup my last post the Army painter "Regiment" brush is great, and i'm sure the insanity detail one will be when i come to paint eye lenses :P PLUS the modelling tool kit I got was awesome, sharp and clean clippers and a great hobbyknife, file and cutting board. Best £10 ever.

Loving those metal scouts man, great work.

Honestly I like both styles of Grav, but the price-point makes it an easy choice for me. If only GW still sold bits, or at least sold popular stuff like heavy and special weapons in 4 packs or something.

It works really well on gold and yellow. Gold especially if you dont want to try your hand at purple or green washes.

Last few days have been pretty productive, actually, despite being seriously busy at work.

Have pretty much all my airbrush work done on my first vow.  Bases are entirely painted.  Every infantry unit save one librarian is base coated and highlighted (3 steps).  Dreads are in very good shape and Fire Raptor is down to its final highlight.

Now it's time for a lot of brush work!
