Cosmicdiadrone
Hello I am looking for information on the Apothecary backpack Here are the most common model of Apothecary backpack http://megabitzshop.com/bilder/produkte/gross/Warhammer-40k-Bitz-Space-Marine-Command-Squad-Apothecary-Backpack.jpg http://www.bitzbox.co.uk/images/da_rav_com_apothecary_backpack_large.jpg On the left side of both backpacks, we can see capsules linked to the backpack, are these supposed to be Reductors, like the ones most Apothecary carry at their belt? On the first model, there is also an apparatus found on the right side. Does anybody know what it is? Since it is not always there, Is it mandatory equipment? I coudl not find the relevant infos in the Codex or on Lexicanum. Has anybody come by other piece of lore about this? Thanks a lot! Grotsmasha
The extra bit on the first one is a plasma cutter for getting through thicker TDA armour. Lucien Eilam
On the left side of both backpacks, we can see capsules linked to the backpack, are these supposed to be Reductors, like the ones most Apothecary carry at their belt? The reductor isn't carried on the belt or the backpack, it's part of the Narthecium. The syringe-like cylinder mounted along the chainblade. Those capsules are usually painted as containing coloured liquid. You could consider them canisters of drugs, or blood for transfusions, or as geneseed storage. On the first model, there is also an apparatus found on the right side. Does anybody know what it is? Since it is not always there, Is it mandatory equipment? It's a plasma cutter. If you look at it from the other side, it's on a mechanical arm. Cosmicdiadrone
Plasma cutter!!!! Thanks a lot!! Yes indeed, i've read a bit more an found out the reductor was the piercer and chainsaw bit on the narthecium. As for the tubes, i've read somewhere they were stasis tubes. Thanks a lot!!!
