Dotkingz
With the new 7th edition being out I have had this nagging question in the back of my mind for a while now. Now with being a vet of Blood Angels death company dont count as scoring. But that where things get confusing in the rules it says that any unit can hold an objective. Can someone please clear this up for me Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/297237-death-company-holding-objectives/ Share on other sites
JamesI
Death Company are never scoring. They can contest an objective though. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/297237-death-company-holding-objectives/#findComment-3818357 Share on other sites
Red-beard
Death company are not scoring. However, (at least until the new codex drops) DC dreads ARE scoring. Also, all death company dedicated transports ARE scoring (and objective secured in a combined arms detachment)....which makes death company a much better option. Quixus
Use dedicated rhinoA dedicated Land Raider will be much harder to shift from an objective. Also it is an assault vehicle. appiah4
Put them in your favorite LR (I'd go for LRR), drive up to enemy objective, assault, sit on it and laugh. Jolemai
If you have a character in the unit, that can still score provided it is in range of the objective. appiah4
If you have a character in the unit, that can still score provided it is in range of the objective. Good point, I revise my previous statement: Put them in a LR of choice along with a Chaplain (I'd go for LRR), drive up to enemy objective, assault, sit on it and laugh. Shaezus
Death Company are never scoring. They can contest an objective though. Is this true? Thought only scoring units can contest.
