After lots and lots of games fielding 3 Knights vs. all sorts of things:

 

The best three options are:

  1. Your own D-Weapon LoW, or;
  2. Terminator squad  - Arjac + all Thunder Hammer / Storm Shield (use a Land Raider, or Deep Strike and then run right next to the Knight so that on that turn it will have to CC you, which is what you want, or risk being hit by its own ranged weapon)
  3. Drop pod suicide squad - Sternguard all Combi-Melta (drop at a diagonal angle to the Knight so half can fire into an unshielded side)

All of the above can easily kill a Knight in 1 Turn.

I had arjac kill a knight my last game, but he got murdered in return because of a roll of 6 on the stomp not allowing saves of any kind. The only reason he managed to finish it off was because the suicide blood claws I use dropped 2 HP off of it previously. Stomp is a killer.

 

But stomp happens on I2 right?

Stomp happens at I1 step.

 

Fudge... lost 3 of my 4 meltabombs to a stomp... Thought it said I2 when we read the little book...

 

Btw does a FW Knight roll on that seneschal table?

even if taken as a lord of war choice?
