And finished 4 new Skyclaws. They have replaceable jump packs (taken from the Wolf Guard shown here a few pages ago), so whenever needed can be enrolled as Bloodclaws as well.

Thanks! As for the army shot, that might take a while as I don't have a good way to do it... yet!

Anyway, heres my first take on the MK III armour. The first set in the army was given to the LF Ancient, as I found it most fitting :smile.: I must say the MKIII is a blast to paint, compared to the regular marine armour.

Here we go:

Thank you very much!

QuarterPounder - sorry for not replying, I didn't notice the question was unanswered until now, Yes, it is the FW MK III kit, added devastaor backpack.

Anyway, maybe some of you remember the razorback I painted a while back. So I bought myself some weathering powders, learned to use it on some junk, and decided to weather the hell out of the razorback! I was never satisfied with how it was painted, so I find this weathering work a big improvement to it.

Anyway, C&C, especially constructive thoughts on the weathering, extremely welcome! I'm currently painting another rhino/razorback, and will also be applying the weathering, so I hope to learn anything I can in the meantime :smile.:

Without further ado:

Looks great! Maybe slightly overdone, but an APC could easily get that messed up on the battlefields of the 42st Millennium! Next time you could try concentrating the weathering more towards the lower half of the tank for more contrast?

Thanks for the feedback :smile.:

So first i also thought it's too much, but on the Polish forum they convinced me its actually ok, so I'm sticking with this way of thinking :biggrin.:

Anyway, the mud in the upper part (it was the Dark Earth powder) comes from the "teeth" of the doors slamming into the ground to let the "cargo" out, and then coming back up with the ground still glued to them. Further along the battle, the rain makes the streaks of the mud go down from the "teeth".

The general aim was to show that the APC took part in quite a few battle operations, and has not been directed for R&R (rest and relaxation  ) yet.

Here's one more pic, which imgur finally let me post:

Hey Guys!

So I finished painting the rhino with detachable magnetized hatch/bolter. Later on I will show it also in the razorback version, when I finish the accessories.

Weathering powders this time in less volume, and without the most dark one. What do you think? Constructive comments enormously welcome :smile.:

next is a FW Deimos Vindicator.

Thanks for the comments :smile.:

Almost finished (just the tracks and some accessories to do) is the deimos pattern vindicator, with the weathering effects evolved as compared to the rhino above. Weathering became my favorite part of painting :cool.:

Ok, so here's the finished deimos vindicator. C&C welcome!!!
