I have a question.

What is the Best Tank Hunter "Solo" Unit?

I have 4 Setups

1. Iron Priest TWM (165Pts)

      4x Cyperwolfs

 6 Wounds 4 Attacks Cavalry

2. 2x LoneWolfs (182pts)

     2 Ferisan Wolfes , TH/SS

 2x 4 WOunds, 3++2x 3 Attacks

3. 2x LoneWolfs (172pts)

     2 Ferisan Wolfes , SS WC MeltaBomb

  2x 4 WOunds, 3++ 2x EMltaBomb + Challenge Optional

4. WG Suicide Bomb (175pts)

    5 CombiMelta DropPod

 Sure "Kill" but Surely dead after , 5 Wounds

SInce i read somewhere that if you run something you always should run its twice (one can be easily Focussed) i think the IP is the worse option even thinking piont/gainwise he looks to be the best.

What are your Thoughts on that?

I second the IP. He is consistent. LW are too slow and suicide drops are one-use only. And while that drop is more effective at taking out melee super-heavies, IP will handle everything else with ease. 5 S10 AP1 attacks are nothing to laugh at when you are on the receiving end.

He's better than a Lone Wolf, but if you can't take multiples or can't hide him, I'd consider him en par with that drop pod you were planning. He is survivable and he works just fine when on his own, but if your army lacks aggression or other forwards elements, he will be useless. It must fit your game.

There is another option.  TDAWG with combi weapons that either deep strike to keep cost down or have a drop pod to be sure of a first turn kill point.  They are obviously more expensive but they are also very very hardy.

I have used these guys before in a drop pod (last edition when we couldn't deep strike) and they soaked up so much fire power the turn they came down.  I currently play an assault heavy list and i am working my way back to having units like this that have to be dealt with.  it means my TWC are often getting into the enemy lines relatively unscathed.

Just a couple ideas:

Leave the Fenrisian Wolves off of the Lone Wolves, and they can TDA Deep Strike behind cover relatively safely for a later turn kill.

Double multi-melta Land Speeders

Swift Claws with Melta bombs, and/or Meltagun, and/or Combi-Melta on the Bike Leader, and/or Multi-melta Attack Bike

Sky Claws with the above

Double Meltagun Grey Hunters in Pods

etc.
