the Russ to the left is sporting new camo... msn-wink.gif

This was a challenging kit to build, especially the treads. But when it all goes together, man is it a beauty! The sponsons can be moved / swapped as well as the main cannon. The Lascannon turrets are held onto the sponson with magnets.

Will post more pics soon!

I have fond memories of building my Baneblade for ETL III, I'll probably have to start early on my Shadowsword if I want it all magnetised and ready for ETL IV ;) Good to see your progress sox, I look forward to seeing more :tu:

She is a big beauty, Lady Baneblade... You just can't beat the wow feeling when one takes to the table, unless it is 2 of them ;)

Is there any specific reason you magnetised the Lascannon turrets or was it just for ease of transport?

Like the desert camouflage - soon the complete AM forum will be doing it :)

I will join in with the desert camo when I get my plastic Tallarn. You heard me GW ;)

I didn't magnetise the lascannons on my Baneblade, they sit there happily and not glued on I'm safe in the knowledge they're not going to break off...

I used the magnets because I figured since the Lascannon turret wasn't really tied to the sponson they could move freely and shoot elsewhere. They sit on there perfectly well without glue or magnets, but the Magnets help.

For some reason, when I see this model I hear "Sink the Bismark" going through my head...
