How many people want to bet that the Sword Brethren will never be in stock as the BT guys buy them up?

Lol. I still have the sound of Zeal ringing in my ears from them chanting this morning :P

According to Garro:

-Solar Auxilia have las rifles, which have a longer range than las guns, and have a one use ability to use as a "hot shot".

-All SA tanks won't have side sponsons to maintain that they are supposed to be hermetically sealed.

-SA HQ choices are really funky and are supposed to be similar to the customizability of Archmagos and such with Rogue Traders, Terran Nobles, etc.

-SA is supposed to be hard and fast hitting, like an expeditionary force

-They will most likely be outnumbered, be not outgunned

-Malcadors are getting moved to the heavy support slot, some Leman Russ variants will go into the fast attack slot

-SA platoons are 1 to 3 within each FoC slot

The dragoon in me screams after a mechanized army.

I mentioned over on heresy30k that I want to make a German themed Blitz army :D they will be fast and nasty.

Oh, and the new SA transports get a flare shield and have that twin lascannon base. They can upgrade to have a demolished cannon, but the transport capacity drops down to 10 then.

Imperial Fists? Dreadnoughts? Ultramarines? Lets get real. This is the only thing that matters:

AV14 bunker on wheels. 4 lascannons, 2 double barreled super battlecannons from hell, 6 twin linked heavy bolters, 360 degree firing angles, and enough horsepower to move at 6MPH. That's right. The StormHammer. It's confirmed!! Its my favorite 40k vehicle and its back baby!!!

Cool stuff, though not seeing anything that makes me want to splash money on. Konard is good so far but not seeing anything form him which makes me think primarch, cool nonetheless. Sevatar looks like  great sculpt, but the combination of the fanged helm and the upright wings kind of makes him look like the Donnie Darko rabbit imo .

Word bearer stuff is cool, was hoping to see Argel Tal as he didn;t make an appearance in the isstvan series.

The contemptor Dreads look fantastic especially that Alpha contemptor, very intrigued as to the new dread design, hope it's a lucifer by name.

So nothing to report on either the Wolves (unexpected, but hopeful) or the Raven Guard (this is getting damned ridiculous, especially after that crap dread release)

I guess I'll go sit in the corner and face the wall for a bit longer.

Has there been any news on the IV Legion - Iron Warriors?  Just rememeber seen rumour (I know rumour are rumour, but still....) from the Forge World european open day.

Ether way, some really great models being release.  I really really hope Forge World bring out a Word Bearer Apostle like the one we've seen in the art work for the fifth book.  Like wise it really great FW bring out a model masterclass book on the Heresy, I will buy that as soon as it up for order.

Also how cool is Sevatar.  Can not wait to see the whole model & possible use it for a conversion toward my IW army & get another Sevatar just to paint for display.

Don't worry, the corner is shadowy so it will hide our tears of further disappointment manly manliness

so far all the RG got is a "meh" dreadnought, (in my opinion) not exceptional rules set and first novel written by Gav Thorpe.

I have a sneaky suspicion that somebody up high doesnt like the RG

Meanwhile, I think the raven guard dreadnaught is the most asthetically pleasing, they have an awesome rule set.  To each their own.

But I am loving the Ultramarine stuff. (and loving the word bearers stuff too... mainly so I can crush them under the boots of Ultramar)

I can only hope that the Praetor pattern armor kits aren't too far off.

I'm just a little in love with the Alpha Legion Cotemptor. Biased I may be, but ita absolutely gorgeous. Now I just need shoulder pads with the chained A now...

I'm still not sure on the Solar Auxilia troops but I love the tanks. Volkite is the way forward :)

I can't stop drooling over the Solar Auxilia.

I think my bank account is going to be much smaller soon....

My reaction was:

"VOLKITES?!?! EVERYWHERE?!!!"

P.S. I'm texting from a bank that I'm currently holding up. Alanpharius demands it.

The Raven Guard dreadnought isn't Raven Guard it's Carcharodons. The rule set can be nice but fleet isn't particularly useful, and all of the blind stuff became WORTHLESS with 7th edition. Also, with the dread, you can't really use multiple full sets.

I don't know, so far the only crap dread release I've seen is that Word Bearers. Almost no ornamentation at all. It's just so..... bland. Meanwhile the Raven Guard get a dread with a bad censored.gif Samoan tribal design? Heck to the censored.gif yeah!

Yeah but that makes it Carcharodons, not Raven Guard. Plus I don't like the Samoan look anyway.

Very nice, thanks for the report!

...but... my eyes! The visor. It does nothing!

NO. NO. NOOO!

I decided not to do DA and NL and stay true to my Imperial Fists. Now along comes Kurze. Why couldn't it have been Perturabo? At least he'd fit in with my ZM project.

Must focus. Templar Brethren and Phalanx Warder Squads... yes... haven't kitbashed my own, so I'll be buying some of these...

AND FW Imperial Fists Mk II & Mk III upgrade shoulder pads... yes. That's much better.

I can understand that. I mean, Forge World did give the Space Sharks an origin within the Raven Guard's Terran past, so it is a Raven Guard dread. But it is a Terran dread, and not one a Deliverance dread, which is what virtually all Raven Guard fans likely most want, even if you do like the Terran one as well (which I do).

Heck, did you see that flamer detachment? Holy cow, that's cool.

I'm curious what the troop capacity is on the Dracosan....

I have a sneaking suspicion it can carry 20 guys (maybe 2 squads) because it was mentioned that if you take the demolished cannon it drops the capacity down to 10 guys
