taikishi
Those are the Eisenkern Stormtroopers. As nice as they are, I think they make better Imperial Guardsmen than Sororitas. I'm more interested in the Valkir once they're out. Unfortunately, I have a feeling they'll make better Grey Knights or Space Marines. thade
Those Valkir look great. They could totally be Sisters of Battle with just a few bits from a GK kit. Certainly STs or other Inq. elements as well. Those are great sculpts. taikishi
Yeah, they don't need much. Head swap, weapon swap. Maybe backpacks and transfer-style eagles and fleur de lis. I want to see them against a Space Marine, though. If they're as large as a Space Marine they're too big. :( Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/297872-making-my-own-plastic-sisters/page/2/#findComment-3841030 Share on other sites
thade
Yea, that's fair enough; I'm hoping they're IG-sized but that's totally unfounded. Just...I want to believe, haha. taikishi
Same. Until the models are officially released we won't know, though. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/297872-making-my-own-plastic-sisters/page/2/#findComment-3841056 Share on other sites
srpelicano
I wanted to wait for the Valkir to use as Retributors, but they were taking way too long to be produced. I liked the Stormtroopers because it was smaller armor and not the clody power armor of the Astartes, but were I making Imperial Guard for an Inquisition unit, I would definitely use them again, only without the cloth and lady heads. Talarius
This thread reminded me of the 28mm (metal) Valkyries originally produced by Micro Panzer (now sold at Rebel Minis) I've always intended to add to my SoB (meaning I own a set, but haven't painted them yet). They lack the religious iconography of GW's Sisters, but their armor is similar enough that they would fit in as a good Command Squad or Celestians. They are equipped with "laser lances" which could substitute for Eviscorators. Imho, they'd also make pretty good proxies for the halberd weapon the Grey Knights carry. [using a mobile device, so can't figure out how to include a pic. :-/] Valkyries: http://www.rebelminis.com/eafova.html matching Vindicare assassin: http://www.rebelminis.com/eafovasc.html Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/297872-making-my-own-plastic-sisters/page/2/#findComment-3847700 Share on other sites
*Furyou Miko
They would make a pretty awesome Sororitas Command Squad. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/297872-making-my-own-plastic-sisters/page/2/#findComment-3847771 Share on other sites
