Rites of teleportation + Gates of Infinity + Interceptor ?

Hello, I know i always ask some tricky questions about the new GK codex.

this time i have this one.

Interceptor states that the unit can shoot at any enemy units entering by reserve.

So, Gates of infinity says that the unit is removed from table, and enters by deepstrike.

Now. Deepstrike rule states that any unit that is entering by deepstrike must do it from reserve.

In this case, GOI can be intercepted?

Now i have another question. About Rites of Teleportation,

This statement is separated in two sections... one is about the allowance to enter by deepstrike in turn 1, and the second is that ANY unit that enters by deepstrike can run and shoot or shoot and run...

This is not tied to turn one. because some untis would enter on second turn or even by GOI.

So, units in the NSF detachment that uses GOI would run after deepstrike.? in this case, it is possible to get out of Interception range or line of sight...

You can't Interceptor units using GoI.  Interceptor triggers on units entering from reserves.  GoI uses the Deep Strike rules to place the minis in question, but never enters Deep Strike Reserves.  So doesn't trigger.

Now, if a GoI unit mishaps and is placed into ongoing reserves, sure.  They can be Intercepted when they 'arrive' again.

A unit running after arriving would happen after any Interceptor shots.

You're Right... running happen in the shooting phase.

so GOI cannot be intercepted.

The reason for this question was the paragraph :

"remove the target and his unit from the board. It then immediately arrives

anywhere on the board using the rules for Deep Strike."

And Deep Strike states the unit must start from reserve...

I agree with the answer

thx
