Jacinda Posted October 16, 2014 Share Posted October 16, 2014 Primary is just the formation or detachment your warlord is in. You can have as many Combined Arms Detachments from as many different codices as you want. You could take a Helcult formation, a Combined Arms Detachment with chaos marines and a second CAD with daemons. This is perfectly acceptable. Which one is the "Primary Detachment?" Which ever one has your Warlord. You could even pick a cultist champion from the Helbrute formation and that formation would be the Primary Detachment.
