The pose and the colors look right and it turned out better than I imagined. The narthecium is the best part. I used to paint them white but painting it black makes the whole model look more varied and interesting. Top stuff mate Thanks, I tried your weathering technique on some imperial guard vehicles and was happy with the results and although I am more of a chipping fan when it comes to my own vehicles, I will be applying it to my knight when I finally get it. I am experimenting with varnishes these days. I realized that matt varnish makes red a bit too dull and tried vallejos polyurathane satin varnish. Works wonders. I just used some on a Venom the other day and it definitely muted the colors, especially a lot of my lining. Did you thin it? How thick did you lay it on?
