Stoneheart
Hi all, Stoneheart here - new member on B&C! Just thought I'd introduce myself. Not sure if I'm supposed to 'reveal' my actual name? Haha! I'm based in the Wirral, England. Currently studying a Masters at Liverpool university! Been playing Warhammer 40k since I was 13, somehow still at it after a decade! Anyway, I have a variety of different projects but my main army is a Salamanders force. I mainly play for fun, painting being my focus (not to say I'm brilliant at it) but I attend tournaments now and again as I find it the best way to discover more about your army's different strengths and weaknesses. Anyway, looking forward to some good chat and getting to know you all. All the best! Dosjetka
Share what you want to share and keep everything else for yourself ;) Welcome to the forum, brother! Make sure you post some pictures of your Salamanders on the board; the one you've used as your avatar is very intriguing and I would love to see more :D Anyway, if you need help or have any questions, feel free to fire them away here or via PM to a Moderator :) Cheers, Ludo Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/298170-hello/#findComment-3837971 Share on other sites

Xenith
Welcome! Echoing Ludovic, I want to see more of those sallies! I have a feeling you're being quite modest when you talk about your painting... Stoneheart
Hi Xenith - I'll get the sallies up soon. Haha that's very kind of you - don't get me wrong, I'm very pleased with how they've turned out like I say, I prefer painting, but I know they're not really show-case worthy! You'll see what I mean. Plus it takes ages! Awesome freehand on your Beaky blood angel in your 4th Co. blog btw! :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/298170-hello/#findComment-3838201 Share on other sites

Stoneheart
My thanks brother! Actually, I was wondering if there was a way to keep track of threads that I contribute to, ie. like a 'Member X has replied to your post' or something similar? Many thanks! :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/298170-hello/#findComment-3839129 Share on other sites
Olis
Go to the 'My Settings' part of your profile (which can be found at the very very top left of any forum page, just open the tab and click 'My Settings') and go to the notification options menu. I think the options available and the functions involved are reasonably self explanatory so I'll leave it there. If you get stuck, just let me know. By the way, to get notified that there has been a reply to your topic, you will have to actually enable that in the topic itself by clicking 'Follow this topic' at the top of the thread. Thanks Olisredan, that's great - all very intuitive after all :) @Machinepriest: Thanks brother, I shall start a WIP thread/gallery as soon as I have some decent pictures! Waiting on some A3 paper to act as a backdrop ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/298170-hello/#findComment-3839242 Share on other sites
