The Myriad Future: The Azure Serpents

Redemption is futile. My sins are many and varied. My Legion was deceived by its own ambition, by its own hubris. My brother, as misguided as the rest of us, slain because of pride. Vanity. Sheer arrogance. Most of the Legion gone into hiding, unsure of its own loyalties. Brothers I once knew, twisted forms of proud Astartes warriors. Others, demagogues and heralds of Dark powers. I lead those brothers who seek purification. We strode back to the light of the Emperor, and now we seek penitence from Him. We stand ready to fight against the Great Enemy, by any means necessary.

Colours: Azure blue with brass trim

Specialty: Infiltration, sabotage, all-out assault from multiple angles

Strength: Unknown

Battle Cry: Only recorded one being: "For the Emperor!", "The Future is Myriad"

           

 

 

            Appearing in the early days of M38, the Astartes Chapter the Azure Serpents is a complete enigma. They claim no Chapter as their ancestors, and no Primarch as their father, and no Imperial records lay claim to where they came from. It's as if they simply appeared out of no-where, for no one, not even other Astartes Chapters know of them.

 

 

This is going to be my project log for my half of an allied/doubles army that I'm putting together with my girlfriend. The other half, I can't showcase here, because she's going to be playing Eldar.

I will try getting better pictures with my new camera soon.

 

Also, a cookie goes to whoever can tell me where that head came from. I'll try getting a better shot of it, but seeing as how this is a very important character, I'd like to be able to duplicate the head for an upcoming side-project.
