What do you give your Wolf Lord?

I only ever run mine on a Thunderwolf. My usual COF setup is Stormshield, Runic Armour, Thunderwolf Mount, Krakenbone Sword, Fellclaw's Teeth. My codex version would be Stormshield, Runic Armour, Thunderwolf Mount, Black Death and Helm of Durfast if I have points.

Full on melee Powerhouse.

At the minute still using my ol' Logan stand-in, so run it as terminator armour with the black death, helm of durfast and a stormshield. But will be building a ThunderLord soon, with something akin to what Immersturm suggested above:

Out of curiousity, which of these two loadouts do you think superior, if given the option of using either detatchment with no other consequences (e.g. using CAD and COF simultaneously)? Also been debating the wulfenstone and armour of russ if utilizing the second option, but they're probably too expensive for what they give.

In itself the relics are not too expensive. Combining them on one char is too expensive. As for the two loadouts, I prefer the COF one since it makes use if his I5. I would not go hunting AV14 or Dread-/Wraithknight with him. He is there to slaughter infantry and heavy infantry and S6 AP2 I5 re-roll to hit does that very well.

I also have a few versions of Wolf Lords I will run-

Thunder Wolf, Runic Armor, Storm Shield, Krackenbone Sword, and Fellclaw's Teeth- This is my 'tournament Lord'

Thunder Wolf, Runic Armor, Wolf Claw, Powerfist- This is my fluffy Lord, he goes with my TWC

Armor of Asvald Stormwrack, Storm Shield, Thunder Hammer- Another fluffy Lord for when Logan, I will take him without the AoAS when points are tight

I have several other Lords modeled up that have been set aside to gather dust for now. Some of them have even been salvaged for parts!! *GASP*
