Armfelt
Do anyone have tried the imperial bunker, and is it good? Is the bastion better? Are these buildings a good option to keep devastators alive? What is needed to make the one or another to work? What are your thoughts?I find that my devastators find themselves very vulnerable for deep striking or outflanking units, when my mechanized troops moves forward. Armfelt
If I ask my question like this then. What is your experience with building classed fortifications and how do you use them? The Librarian
Hi Armfelt, I have used both buildings so far, the bastion and the bunker. For the Bastion only two of the four sides have two very tiny fire points and I found it often difficult to get a good LOS for my devastators. With the bunker and its big fire points I never had this problem and the shooting was always quite effective. So after testing them I prefere the bunker. It's also cheaper than the bastion (ok it has no heavy bolters but they are good for nothing anyway). I usually also buy the ammo store upgrade and put devastators with 4 plasma cannons inside. No problems with overheating anymore. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/298217-imperial-bunkers/#findComment-3857485 Share on other sites
Armfelt
Thank you brother-librarian, luckily I bought the bunker then. And true, the plasma cannons sounds much more reliable then!
