Not sure if its Clean enough, but painting it might show that. Started work on its backpack. Comments and tips are welcome. Will probably paint the arms on backpack red, have a Little red on the marine itself too. Dreads can have battle cannons if you make rules for them, i used the old vehicle design rules, though its outdated i Think, perhaps came during 3rd edition. Token Posted June 28, 2017 Author Share Posted June 28, 2017 Might use this Dread as my Chaptermaster, or atleast one of his bodies. Tried making him a Dreadnought that is also a Techmarine, so he has hands to work a forge and flamers as tools too, might change one to a meltagun. He has some red parts as that is the color for Techmarines i think. Think i got the idea for the servo arms from Marcelis, here on the forum. Not sure if the head should be gold, a color of status among my marines, or grey. His name if Torvaldr, which i Think means Thors Reign, the r at the end is to make it sound more vikinglike. Edit: He has Little arms at his waist, to use as finer instruments, like typing a keyboard. He also has Little Cables there that could be used to connect to some other machine or something.. He also has Little arms at his main arms, those could be used as selfrepair too. Hope the Iron Hands get that ability later on. Please excuse Spelling, grammar mistakes and such. Token Posted April 13, 2018 Author Share Posted April 13, 2018 Been trying to learn some 3d modelling. Watched Blender videos on Youtube and done some stuff. The round thing is supposed to be a shield, as some of my marines are kinda viking+Iron Hands, i made it a round shield but with a cog thingy. The thing in the middle is supposed to be a Thors hammer, kinda a symbol of viking religion. Tried making a chain with rune tokens hanging from it, will probably try to look like runes have been carved into them, if i continue on that thing. Please excuse grammar, Spelling mistakes and such.
