Dimensions of LR Spartan and Fire Raptor?

Ok,

I have a normal Chaos LR, and a Stormraven They aren't particularly useful to me in this form, however a Spartan and Fire Raptor seem fun.

I know the raptor is a bit longer than a normal raven, and likewise, the Spartan has the front nose, but are the resin bodies much bulkier than their respective plastic counterparts?

I.e. is a spartan the same size as a normal LR Phobos, minus the front nose? And same for the raptor and Stormraven?

Photos would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Xen

Here's a picture of some models I'm currently painting. At the top, from left to right : Land Raider Achilles, Spartan, Phobos and a Sicarian in the front.

In the front of this picture is a Spartan fully unassembled. Note that the side parts of the hull are giant solid chunks of resin.

If you want, I'll take some better pictures :P

Best bet for the quad cannons is FW Rapiers, either from FW or eBay. Or if you're doing a "modern" variant like I did, you can man-handle 4 regular lascannons into position. I'll put up some pics when/if I get home tonight.

Thanks for the input guys! Grot, that's looking good, but too rich for my blood, using the other half of a raider!

I have 4 spare lascannons from my metal crusader kit that I could combine with a regular raider to get 2x quad lascannons with little effort.

It looks like I'd have to make the main body about 1/2" longer, and then add about an inch on the snout.

Thankfully, I think I have enough nits of tank left over from other projects to be able to give it a go...
