Post up your Interrogator Chaplain Seraphicus

Brother dean

Recommended Posts

I did search before I started this.

Finally have started on mine and I am stuck on his belt.  I dont know why characters must have WWE world title heavyweight belt buckles but they do...   I dont know what to do with Seraphicus's.  He is feeling bland to me and that is a way I can bring color in but he also has a sash on his chest I can do in a color.

Anyway If you have finished him, Post yours up here and give me inspiration...  (Or any other chaplains you may have done...  Lets just show off our stuff again)

Bad, dark pict showing where I am:

And some of my past Chaplains:

I'm sure a bit of Seraphicalickulous is in there somewhere ;)

I'm gearing up to dump all my chaplains at the feet of a local commission painter to have them do them for me, first I need to strip my fancy reclusiarch model

If I counted correctly he has 52 skull faces on him in total....

what suprises me he beats this guy who despite his sword has only 47 skull faces by my count (which may be wrong):

As you asked nicely and I have not done any of my DA for such a long time this might help my motivation too :)

I'm jealous guys. Beautiful stuff. I never got one of those Seraphicus guys... and since he seems largely unusable in games, I can't justify how much he costs. Very nice fig though, I might splurge one day just so I can take a wack at painting him.

Nice Elmo.

Prot?  $15.99 is too much?  And one for $21...    They have gone down a bit since they came out/

No, that's very reasonable.

The problem is I'm in Canada and with the automated shipping options people use to Canada I am getting charged about 20 bucks US for shipping. So depending on how they ship it... let's say it's obvious I bought it from an ebay auction, I get hit with other duty as well.

Some savvy U.S. sellers just put in an envelope, it comes lettermail, I don't pay duty, and shipping should be about 5 bucks tops. But right now no one is selling in that manner. So I'm looking about about 45-50 bucks U.S. (about 50-60 Cdn.)

Most dark angels hq's fetch 20-25 on eBay even sammy ans azzy. But that's about standard fare for le/white metal single model kits.

My space marine 2002 metal standard bearer was 20 bucks

Which reminds me I'm going to put the finishing touches on him tomorrow? Would u folks like to see him next to my other sb and assault chaplain I had painted by ctp?

That is some serious postage... I can send a padded envelope/small packet from Germany to Canada for €3.45

I've got mine a bit more done..  Not happy with the eyes, and a bit of gap filler to remove, paint over on the backpack...

And I decided to stick my Sapphon in too,
