Frater Cornelius
The idea of non marines in a marine army sort of stuck to me now. I like to it breaks the aesthetic monotony of SM armiez and it makes sense in the context of a wandering company. Where is my hammer! Let's forge the :cuss out of that narrative! :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/298391-power-armour-technicalities/page/3/#findComment-3845319 Share on other sites
Z00Z
The idea of non marines in a marine army sort of stuck to me now. I like to it breaks the aesthetic monotony of SM armiez and it makes sense in the context of a wandering company. Where is my hammer! Let's forge the out of that narrative! In Prospero Burns, Kasper was 're-made' by the wolf priests but not to the level of Astartes. But, signifficantly, he was stronger, faster and more powerful. There's even the case where he fought 3 IG easily. So there is no doubt that augmentation and enhancement is possible without relying on the black carapace. :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/298391-power-armour-technicalities/page/3/#findComment-3845342 Share on other sites
Jochteas
Also I mean, Fenrisian men are like way stronger then your average dude, like each one has battled horrors and seen the worse of a death world so bad that a life time of war and anguish across the cosmos seems more enjoyable. Your average imperial citizen probably Would think a Fenrisian was a Space marine if he wore medium armor and wasn't told any better. SO I mean if that's your 'starting' point and you can enhance /that/ you got something really powerful possible. Frater Cornelius
The human forces will not be Fenrisian only. The whole point is to being able to reinforce on the fly when needed and to prevent incest amongst the Kaerls, keeping them strong. I am sure there are plenty of bearded and fair-skinned badasses out there who are willing to join. Marines are all Fenrisian and humans are mainly Fenrisian or at the very least part-Fenrisian. If you come across Stallone or Schwarzenegger on your way, I am sure you will be happy to enroll them too :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/298391-power-armour-technicalities/page/3/#findComment-3845382 Share on other sites

Jochteas
I figure if I try a hundred times I'd get 1 great success, or you'd forget what a good one is so they all become funnier. Win/win Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/298391-power-armour-technicalities/page/3/#findComment-3845507 Share on other sites
