khorne warband ideas

Wanted to create a unique and diverse chaos force built up from many warbands that worship khorne, and some are hard to find paint schemess for. I'll give a list of a few I'm not sure how they should look and would really appreaciate if you know anything about them or opinions how they should look.

 

Angrons chosen

Berserkers of kharadon

Berserker skallathrax

Blood legion of khorne

The foresworn

Knights of blood

Lords skchalicks elite

Ravagers

The sanctified

Savage swords

Skull takers

Skull takers of hans khoren

 

And if I have missed anything feel free to add to the list, and looking for and idea of how they should be painted and converted fluff wise.

 

Also going to add red corsairs and word beares to the force, I know there undevided but there awesome.

Aren't the Sanctified a Word Bearers Warband for have forsaken their undivided ties to worship Khorne?

Thus they could just be a Word Bearers army, as you said they were cool, but with extra Khorne themes.

For example, I cover my word bearers in 8 pointed stars and scripture, you could use the MoK instead, add a few khorne shoulder pads and icons and some brass alongside the WB's red and silver.

Here is an article on them, not keen on the colours myself but you could change that if you wished to be more of a WB's looking army.

Aren't the Knights of Blood a BA successor (ie. they appear in the BA codex)? Although they're quite blood-crazy thanks to the Black Rage (to the point where they've been declared Renegade), I don't think they're Khornate.

Edit: Derp, turns out there's 2 Knights of Blood. The BA successors and the probably Khornate Chaos Warband. These guys:

There's a theory that some of them might have split off as a separate warband after they were outlawed
