Well, Corax isn't meant to be a head to head Primarch Fighter. He's supposed to play as he does in the Fluff : A hit n' run, Guerrilla Tactics Freedom Fighter with a penchant for Stealth and sudden assaults.

That said, thats exactly what his rules permit. With the Panoply of the Raven letting you give Corax a leg up in something  he might be facing. Also with his "ninja vanish" ability letting him be able to hop in and out of combat as is convenient for his player and never going into long protracted fights with the likes of Angron is what he's supposed to do.

If he was upper-mid tier in terms of Primarch Power he'd be pretty overpowered, imo.

I'm a little surprised that it's Non-Transcended Lorgar < Corax < everyone else

I always thought Corax was around Curze-level (not as physically strong but more disciplined)

Nah... Corax hides in the dark, but we are why the dark is feared. ^_^

What do you think about Perturabo? With and without hammer, is he a medium-fighter?

Yes, for the reasons I've listed in an earlier post. Forgebreaker shifts him from lower-medium to upper-medium, but he's still in that range. It's the low attack count that keeps him from doing a lot of damage a turn.

I feel like Perturabo is much more of a force multiplier than some of the other Primarchs.

Not quite as cool as having an entire legion that causes fear, but it's a start.

I'm still torn on Corax. In TFH Lorgar makes the observation about how Corax is a much more ferocious warrior than anyone had given him credit for but that doesn't translate very well into what he should be doing on the tabletop. Although I'm glad nobody opted to give him his Invisibility since he would probably win hands down that way

I would dispute that, you use the darkness to fuel the fear you love, we use the darkness to kill. While your busy skinning the corpse of some army soildier, we are moving through the shadows to kill the enemy command.

On topic, I think Corax was considered a bit of an unknown amongst his brothers, and Lorgar fought an enraged version who was probally much closer to Curze. Rule wise I think he was better with the old blind rule, but his rules are probally very true to the background, he is a kill by many cuts sort of guy.

Well it has changed from testing immediatly whenever hit with every attack, to becoming one test at the end of the phase if they got hit at all.

Seems like a big change to me, reduces the chance of blinding an opponent and reducing Corax abiloty to survive combat.
