Bowlzee
I thought I would share some conversions I've made for Heralds of Slaanesh using Dark Elves Witch Elves. Herald 1 Herald 2 Herald 3 More pictures here. I will show off the completed models once painted and based etc. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/298640-heralds-of-slaanesh-conversions/ Share on other sites
Strazhakov
I like them very much. Looking forward to seeing them painted. Do the Witch Elves come in a dual kif with the Slaughter Sisters? Really like those whips and especially the masks. Kierdale
A bit pricey but such a lovely kit. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/298640-heralds-of-slaanesh-conversions/#findComment-3848311 Share on other sites
Forté
All works for me. They almost seem like perfect kits to use together. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/298640-heralds-of-slaanesh-conversions/#findComment-3848551 Share on other sites
TheDarkOne
I like the conversions. for heralds, I was actually thinking of trying to give them snake bodies, like the boobsnake rider from fantasy (old Slaaneshi BSB). someone suggested using ravenors as the base for that, and I have always intended to do so. I'd probably do the ravenor tail, then like 2 demonette torsos 'human centipede'ed together, with 4 big claws, mimicing a mini mini trygon. put her on a bike base for posterity and use her as the character assassin with aetherblades, badass locus and a steed. Dark Eldar Wyches can also make good conversion bits for demonettes... RolandTHTG
If you don't mind working with metal, the old rider is still available in mail/direct order. Kierdale
I'd like to make a four-armed Slaanesh Herald sometime (after all, Keepers of Secrets have four arms, as did the old snake-body bald champion). Perhaps use two Daemonette torsos, adding the chest section of one atop the cut-down shoulders of another (or Dark elf Witch bodies for a more dynamic look).
