apologist
Inspired by Neil Roberts' cover of the Black Library short story collection Mark of Calth, I recently finished this group of Ultramarines. Since they're not related to the broader WIPs in Calth, my joint blog with Doghouse, I thought I'd post 'em up here, too. Hope that's okay :) Original book cover: In grim-dark-o-vision: ...and in a larger size with some brighter lighting: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/298889-mark-of-calth/ Share on other sites

apologist
Thanks chaps :) Which head did you use if I may ask! For Ventanus? It's one of the scout biker heads - I trimmed the vox-bead microphone and earpiece back then used a file to turn it into his lantern jaw. I also filed back the hair a bit on the sides to give him his distinctive haircut. Selaton's head is the FW Praetor with some hair added, and Scaena's head is based on one of The honour guard helmets from Sevrin Loth. I trimmed the crest away and used a little greenstuff to add the double-headed eagle to the front.
