Whirlwind Scorpius

LoW:

Typhon - armoured ceramite and lascannons

 

 

Lots of accurate firepower (all bolters bs5, autocannons bs5 through master of signals, rapiers twin linked) and blasts to back them up. Hoping to open as many transports as possible early on with the rapiers then bombard the contents with the scorpius, typhon & master of signals. 

 

The autocannons and contemptor are their to hit anything tough and as anti air, but if no targets of that type are about they'll add their firepower to the tactical squads and pick on enemy troops.

 

 

Only change I was thinking about doing was dropping the heavy support squad in favour of another whirlwind scorpius, a sicarian with lascannons and giving the master of signals a refractor shield was the spare 10pts.

 

Would love some feedback though :)

I'd get a sicarian. The fact that it has 6 rending TL shots that ignore Jink saves make it better as a backup anti-air unit than the heavy support squad. Everything else looks nice and solid if a tad immobile due to it being gunline focused.
