Emperor's Fury

So I have recently started painting my chapter and am having a hard time naming them now that I am playing them. So my theme I would like to have is a chapter that is themed around being founded to root out corruption and Xeon threats. They were secretly founded for the inquisition and trained by the Ultramarines and befriended th Salamanders when some went on a crusade during training. I'll add more to the fluff after you critique the name and bases. So I like the word phrase righteousfury and want them to see the throne as the almighty. Also would it be possible to be granted a forge world which produces plasma weapons and has hive cities. They would have a mountain base on the nearby moon.

Possibly in future I want to ally an IG unit. They would be pulled from the planet to help serve their "gods" in war. Please help me out on if the name is ok/taken and how it sounds. Can help me fluff the background or tear it down.

Really hard to "secretly" found a Space Marine chapter.

It's a huge undertaking that involves participation from the AdMech and Administratum. You're talking about a process that involved building or acquiring a massive armory of vehicles, weapons and power armor, assembling a sizable space fleet or specialized vessels, and then training it up.

The idea of being granted their own forge world is pretty unlikely. The entire reason for having Chapters is to limit how powerful Space Marines can be. Giving them the keys to the kingdom right after would pretty much defeat that purpose. Also, the AdMech wouldn't be too excited about turning over control of one of their most sacred assets, as a Space Marine homeworld is exempt from most Imperial authority. The other downside to that as a story element for your chapter is that everybody does it. It's perhaps one of the least original ideas for Space Marine lore possible. Ultimately, Space Marine Chapters have a ton of leeway and requisition a ridiculous amount of equipment. There's very little need to use a relationship with the AdMech as an excuse for having a lot of gear. In the bigger picture, a forge world is massive overkill for a Space Marine chapter. They're only a little over 1,000 guys plus augments. Forge worlds usually support entire sectors.

Perhaps they were smashing some xenos they found an STC bank (or whatever it's called) that contained a wealth of uncorrupted plans. The mechanicus was overjoyed with all the new plans and diverted a bit more resources the chapters way. Or maybe the chapter has a dedicated squad or two that accompanies mechanicus fleets and as a token of gratitude the mechanicus helps the chapter maintain a large armoury.

Indeed, but cliches work for some people so I thought I'd throw that in.

Your chapter will field plenty of vehicles whether they have a pet forge world or not. Forge worlds will supply for the most part whoever the high lords tell them to. An interesting angle to go with might be that when the chapter was founded, they were assigned a particular forgeworld as a supplier of arms, and then the fabricator general and chapter master looked at each other and went "ugh!" Your guys still get their motor pool and weapons, but tere is tension there to build a hook from.
