I was able to trade from some old marines and thought it would make a nice touch. all I lack now is 1 old backpack and a 2nd model in case I want to run a medic. should I paint them in black for pre heresy or go with green armor? Being a fan of the old RT stuff I would say black armour but it really depends on your own preference and what era you want them part of pre/post heresy.
