Yet some more Night Lords

After a gap of about 6 or 7 years I am getting back into 40K, and although I'm starting off by doing the Sons of Horus, I thought I would show some of the last models I worked on.

SO without further messing about here are some photo's of the Night Lords I was painting and building at the time I became disenchanted.

Yes the marine has a pointy finger as i brlieve all marine armies should have at least one it gives the direction

was going for a more tech feel rather than choas feel to my night Lords and these were going to be possessed marines using the talons mutation, (Please remember they for the rules of seven years ago)

this is two shots of the my Lord Gius Crucis and yes that is a Black Templars sword he is holding, it was all part of the fluff a had put together for the army. (The date on the grave is what i worked the approx date for the death of Night Haunter.

a couple of shots of some standard marines, at the time i hated the gold edging around the edge of the choas model so i used the legs of standard marines. I know my figs looked shiny but at the time i used a gloss varnish to try to show the metal nature of the armour.

here is the only picture of the dreadnought i created and if i'm honest actually finished but it never survived seven years of none use.

while they are not technically works in progress I'm thinking of restarting my Night Lords to fit with the new rules so am interested what people think i could use the tech possessed as and with what weapons?

That's a cool army, no need to make excuses for it.

 

Possessed don't really have any options in the current edition, they get a random rule each assault phase, so just call them Possessed.

Found a picture of a conversion I was pleased with at the time it was My Dark Apostle, my fluff had him as a disenchanted chaplain. Vermithrax (No prises for guessing were i got that name from .

Looking at it if I did him again i would have taken two skulls sliced off the back of the head and stuck them together for the Dark Crozius.
