Olis
I am shocked and amazed I have not yet commented on this, brother. The detail in this thread is fantastic. Bit of a slow burner though, eh? ^_^ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/299055-walking-chapel-bring-his-light-far-as-possible/page/6/#findComment-4402228 Share on other sites
the Belgian one
Hi everyone ! and thank you all for the comments ! Few news today , some tubes on the legs hydraulics, some more armour pannels under the torso, a pair of hydraulics from a dozer blade ( those will be the fixations for some servo arms under the cockpit. And ! a test fit for multiple missile pods ! What do you think ? I'm not sure about those but ... eh why not ! I'll be back soon ! C&C are very welcome ! Isengrin
I really like the pods, I'd say keep them. Your attention to detail is something else. Mechanist
Looks interesting but depends how they fit round the tech priest, he is definitely cooler if it's one or other. K0rtmer
The rocket pods are brilliant. You must keep them! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/299055-walking-chapel-bring-his-light-far-as-possible/page/6/#findComment-4406762 Share on other sites
ElDuderino
Very cool, the texturing on the armor plates would probably work well on a nurgle-aligned chaos knight too Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/299055-walking-chapel-bring-his-light-far-as-possible/page/6/#findComment-4406783 Share on other sites
the Belgian one
Hi everyone ! Little update for today but it takes me a lot of time and patience ! After a lot of test-fitting and repositioning i'm back to you with this latest version of the missile pods ! let me know what you think and again, thanks everyone for following this and for all your comments ! Rock on ! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/299055-walking-chapel-bring-his-light-far-as-possible/page/6/#findComment-4411336 Share on other sites
K0rtmer
I liked the pods better before. Now you have a rather large flat plasticard surface to deal with. I've no doubt you'll nail it, but I somehow liked it better before. She's coming along very, very well, mate. Dosjetka
I prefer the pods now, to be honest, though some surface detail on the panels is definitely a good idea. Ch@oZ
Amazing work, truly inspirational. Actually makes me want to buy a titan and follow in your footsteps. As for the pods, I'm with the "liked it more before camp, but I guess we'd all need to see how they look with that arm on to make proper judgment. GhostMalone
Rivets! It needs more rivets! And cabling cant forget the cabling and more everything!! Warsmith Uveron
I realy like this model. The pods do add something, but not sure if I prefred how you used to have it... I think this has alot of potential to be one of the most Grim-Dark models I have ever seen. Chaplain Raeven
Amazing project. That knight will be a total beast when it's done. The dates between the posts are disturbing though. Keep up the good work fellow Belgian. Soulblight
Lovelly work altoghether! The attention to details, the creativity and the general willpower to going thru with this beast is great to see! If i would critisice anything, it would be that the Inquisitor looks a bit to fresh. To clean and perhaps a bit too Imperial Guard. I would love a hat on him or something bionic on his face to add a bit drama to that piece. Oh.. and i vote for the mechanium priest if it comes to a choice between him and the missile pods! Overall im very impressed! the Belgian one
'Evening everyone ! And thanks to you all for your opinions ! @Soulblight : I have to agree with you ... this inquisitor is maybe a bit of a weakling ... i'll try to find something else and keep him for another job ^^ So some new today ! ARMOURED TOES ! Still wip but here is the basic shape made from plastic board. Brother Culter
Very enjoyable thread. I hadn't seen this before and enjoyed seeing your vision coming together. I can't wait to see it finished and painted it will be awesome! In terms of size, how much bigger than a regular knight is this? the Belgian one
Some more bodybuilding on the chapel ! I've made "risers" from styrene sheets and brass rods ! The beast is now aprox 1.3 cm higher than a regular knight ! Brother Pheidias
Amazing build, as others have said, straight out of a Blanche illustration. Also, I imagine it to function somewhat akin to this: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/299055-walking-chapel-bring-his-light-far-as-possible/page/6/#findComment-4421612 Share on other sites
Brother Sgt Kartr
This is really amazing! The only problem I see with the missiles is how are you going to fit the arch/chapel with the Magos Biologos around/next to them. For the tech-priest conversion have you tried using a Skitarii head?
