GhostMalone
Well.....looks like my March of The Legions model will have to be made purely from GW plastic instead of FW resin. Just droped 105 pounds Sterling on this pre-order (including delivery). WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The aussies will buy them all! OwlandMoonGuy
Are we sure that the ToC in the preview is comprehensive? From back during Warhammer Fest in Oct: It makes me think (or perhaps hope) that there are more army list entries that are on a subsequent page of contents. Just my $0.02. I can't wait for the new rules. ChaosReigns
No sign of the Dark Mechanicum (apart from fluff, perhaps) in the table of contents. I hope their entries weren't cut from the book altogether, whatever they might have entailed. Slips
Honestly, I think Dark Mechanicum and Mechanicum will use the same army list with maybe a few units here and there for the Dark Mech (since they aren't really that different in this point in time) and maybe a few different rules for their units. Conn Eremon
It's possible that some of those Knight houses are meant to represent either sides of that fence, or that the inclusion of the Dark Mechanicum is in the battles at the front. redmapa
I wonder how customizable the SA list will be compared to the Legiones Astartes. The only Dark Mechanicum listing is Archmagos Draykavac on page 300. I'm guessing that any other stuff has been edited out due to the already huge size of this volume (it's about 100 pages larger than any of the previous three books!) From the official FW Description: This large format 312 page bonded leather bound hard cover book, with its exclusive slipcase, poster and reference cards is our biggest Horus Heresy book to date. So I guess I was wrong about it being 100 pages longer. No idea where I got that from - guess I must have dreamt it LOL! KJB
Any idea when the normal edition is out? I really want to get this, however I've just pretty much sold my soul on eBay to get a copy of the "Event exclusive only 4000 in the universe" The Seventh Serpent... m_r_parker
No word yet - but the delta between the Special and Regular edition IA13 was only about a week, so I'm guessing we might see it either tomorrow or next week sometime. Although I'm not sure how much of a price difference they'll be between the two editions. I can see the regular versions of the three existing books at £72 and I doubt Conquest will be any cheaper than those - I'd wager £75 personally (£72 feels odd for a book in my opinion, in my mind it should be payable via a combination of notes). Plus you've got shipping on top unless you have a free-shipping code. KBA
Someone needs to buy the remaining 750. My resolve to wait for the regular is weakening!!!
