The Emperor's Wrath Space Marines Chapter
Emperors wraith is a space marine chapter founded to combat the lack of loyalty to the emperor in the Segmentum Pacificus. Believing the Emperor would find mankind to be wanting and corrupt to the core. Being founded in the 41M, they are a newer chapter and are currently being battle tested in the Ultima Segmentum against the Octarius Empire region. Here they have found brother hood with the Salamader Chapter and the EW founders, the Warbringers.

Home World
The Emperor's Wrath Space Marines are a fleet based chapter with their capital ship being "Righteousfury"(had to work it in). They recruit from the grounds in which they pass through or cleanse. Often the chapter finds members from families who stood loyal during trying times or who's fathers were honored members of the PDF or Astra Militarium.

Combat Doctrine
EW believes in committing full force to battle and rarely withholding resserves. A show of force to prove to the enemy that the Emperor is strong and ready to deliver judgement upon them. Being an Imperial Fists sub geneseed they believe in heavy use of bolters and plasma weapons. All forces being equally corrupt in their eyes, wether it being Xeno scum or Chaos forces all must be purged and feel the Emperors Wrath.

Organization/Organisation
Formed from The Warbringers chapter they follow the Codex Asartes. Chapter Master is Ruvaan Dymir, former 1st Captain of the Warbringers. Being religious they have more chaplians in their ranks. Librarians are used as well, psychic powers not being a taint but closely monitored.

Beliefs

The Emperor is the Almighty who, if woken, would judge his Empire and be enraged at corruption and neglict of those less fortunate. Those who do not share the faith are either Xeno who need to be purged or show a possible Chaos taint which needs to be purged. The Emperor's Wrath believe in committing full force to uphold such beliefs no matter the cost, be it their own lives or others. It is better to die seeking redemption than to live believing you do not need it.

A Segmentum is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is.

 

Major events taking place in the Segmentum Pacificus during M41 included the Macharian and Sabbat Worlds Crusades. The latter was for a single Sector of 100 worlds, and still involved 6 Space Marine Chapters, dozens of Guard regiments, Titan Legions and an IN fleet.

 

I'd recommend giving them a slightly narrower focus than the entire Segmentum. Maybe they were originally founded to take part in a particular Crusade, or to reinforce a particular Sector.

Oh ok. Cool. I don't want involved in the sabbat wars. Maybe. I can make up a system they are trying to reclaim or protect? Any ideas? Or maybe I just commit them to the octarius empire fight?
