Armfelt
I have a hard time reading the rules for melee weapons. In 5th edition the ironclads attacks were 2(3), but now it says 2.Has it been nerfed to two (no bonuses for additional dreadnought arms, even though being a melee weapon).Example:Ironclad has 2 melee attacks per default.Ironclad charges (+1 attack) = total 3 attacks.Thank for your responses. Axagoras
read walkers and assaults section on p 91 and it will cover everything. Also a reminder to everyone, walkers have hammer of wrath. I never knew that lol... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/299491-ironclad-dreadnought-attacks/#findComment-3867030 Share on other sites
Armfelt
Thank you! :)So because of the specialist weapon (seismic hammer) it remains as default number of attacks. If it would have been two DCC arms it would have gained an extra attack.True, I didn't know about the Hammer of wrath! Quixus
No, the Ironclad gets an additional attack, because it has two specialist weapons (Seismic Hammer, Power Fist). Axagoras
also in the walker rules it just needs to have more then 1, to get more attacks, like a defiler with 4 so it would get +1 for each after the first Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/299491-ironclad-dreadnought-attacks/#findComment-3867247 Share on other sites
Quixus
While true, this rule does not overwrite the specialist weapon rule, which requires additional weapons with that rule to gain extra attacks. So a defiler would only have 4 attacks, if the ranged weapon is replaced by power fist, but not if the replacement were a power scourge. Armfelt
Ah, I missed the part that it was a Power fist (specialist weapon), I just thought that it would be a Dreadnought Close Combat arm (just: melee weapon). Then I see. Thanks! :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/299491-ironclad-dreadnought-attacks/#findComment-3867283 Share on other sites
