ElectricPaladin
I'm looking to add a mystic to my Inquisitor's warband, and I'm trying to decide what model to use as a base. At the moment, I've got it down to the following: This guy from Reaper: http://www.reapermini.com/graphics/gallery/4/IG_2286_1.jpg Alternately, this guy from Reaper is a bit more impressive... but possibly too impressive to represent a relatively minor psyker. http://www.reapermini.com/graphics/gallery/4/60063_p_1.jpg This other guy from Reaper (as an added benefit, I get a little fire elemental familiar thingy). http://www.reapermini.com/graphics/gallery/4/03596_p_1_mj.jpg In both of the latter cases, I would clip off or omit one of the belt doodads and replace it with one of these from eBay (the former doesn't need a laspistol bit because he could easily be hiding a demolisher cannon under those robes). http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTE1OFgxMDc5/z/LyUAAOSwGiRTqvyE/$_57.JPG So, what do you think? Version A, B, or C? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/299555-inquisitorial-mysticpsyker/ Share on other sites
NovemberIX
Personally I'd go with A, it just feels more 40k than the other two IMO. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/299555-inquisitorial-mysticpsyker/#findComment-3868394 Share on other sites
ElectricPaladin
Personally I'd go with A, it just feels more 40k than the other two IMO. I'm leaning more and more towards A. It's also the cheapest option - the model costs $7, but I don't need to buy a laspistol bit. The other two, with the laspistol bit, will cost ~11$ each. Lysimachus
Hmmm, I agree the first guy is the one to go for. He could still do with a bit of 40k-ifying though, either the pistol or maybe a servo skull would be a simple addition if you've got one knocking about somewhere? I think I used up all my servo skulls... but they're pretty cheap. ElectricPaladin
I'm convinced - I'm going to grab Dude A. Thanks for helping me confirm it! reckoning
Good choice. What about just adding some 40K bits to the base? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/299555-inquisitorial-mysticpsyker/#findComment-3868668 Share on other sites
