Lord Kallozar
in a nurgle army which of the two characters would be better to include? Obviously I know that Bile isn't a nurgle character but he makes a great counts as nurgle apothecary right? so which of the two would be a better choice? Lord Kallozar
I mean just in general terms, because I don't have or want a nurgle army, was just a curious question that's all lol. Lord Kallozar
if someone fielded typhus and necrosius together how would the zombie rule stand? for example if I used typhus' zombie rules would that also allow necrosius' zombie rules of furious charge to count towards typhus' zombies as well? Castellan Cato
if someone fielded typhus and necrosius together how would the zombie rule stand? for example if I used typhus' zombie rules would that also allow necrosius' zombie rules of furious charge to count towards typhus' zombies as well? Don't do this. There's no reason to and that's a ton of points in your HQ. In IA: Apoc Necrosius gets the exact same rule that Typhus has. But the answer is that yes, Necrosius would buff any zombie on the battlefield with furious charge as long as he is alive. I haven't tried Necrosius in 7th, but he always did well for me in 6th with his plasma-shot unique power. Lucio
No question about it, Fabius Bile, the man so evil that even the Chaos Gods made him live with the Dark Eldar just to keep enough of their own followers intact... walpurgisnacht
Fabulous Bill is awesome! Also, give his experimental marines the MON to have stronger, tougher, more expensive marines :) I feel Necrosius is great for pure Nurgle's delight, but I'm a Typhus fan. Emperors Immortals
FabBill is better then people say, but I've run Necrosis since I got Vraks and between him and the old school plague marines I'm finding a DG warband very enticing. +1 Necrosis. Lord Kallozar
cheers for the replies. Just to throw a spanner in the works, what about a generic nurgle sorc in a list with typhus. could that work well? King Jackal
Unless you can justify having to roll one of the Nurgle powers and you can forecast what you'll do with it each game depending on your opponent, you may find it more rewarding to keep the Sorcerer unmarked. Nurgle is the best of the God specific disciplines though but you need to be able to say "if I get Weapons Virus, I'll lay it on those Veterans while I'm advancing, if I get Gift of Contagion I'm going to put it on the Riptide in the corner - hoping for the -toughness roll, if I get Plague Wind those Centurions are going to hate me." Do you want Typhus for Zombies? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/299581-necrosius-or-fabius-bile/#findComment-3871276 Share on other sites
