A thought about Crowe's role.

Aww, get upset without someone smarter to hold your hand? Poor thing.

that literally makes no sense

Sure, I'll break it down for you. I know Eldar players really don't need much in the way of critical thinking to win games, you're new at this.

Your question was solvable by yourself with a glance at the rulebook. I believe that you should be able to answer it for yourself, and I figured reading ~3 sentences wasn't too much of a stretch for you. That you want to blindly rely on someone you don't know on the internet instead of taking the few seconds to enable yourself I find foolish. That you turned to insult me for it, doubly so.

I was sitting in work i didnt have the rulebook handy so i though asking on the forum would be a good idea, but unlike most people on this forum rather than being helpful your just completely patronizing, ive seen you do it on lots of threads, its pretty pathetic to be honest

Guys keep it civil. No need to get rude with eachother. If it keeps up I'll lock the thread.

Crowe is really frustrating. He's finally gotten IC status, he's great in challenges...but he costs the same as a Grandmaster, but does so much less. Le sigh, always two steps back with GW

Take him in casual games, he's fun and not entirely useless, just overcosted.

Really, there's one great reason to take him - Cleansing Flame.

I'm sure you were. That's why you insisted you knew what the rule was when I told you to read it.

Honestly, your grammar is rude enough. Don't add lying to the mix.

And ap2 at initiative 6!! And a high weapon skill. He's like a marine eldar with his high stats. But obviously means nothing outside a challenge.

Right. You can't rely on a challenge most of the time. It's nice when it happens, but eh. Cleansing Flame, OTOH, is totally reliable. Maybe Draigo + Crowd to teleport into position and flame it up?

Lot of points, though. And a lot of psychic dice.

'Cleansing Flame' isn't what I'd call reliable. WC2 is a pain, I've thrown 8 dice at the thing and its still 'noped' at me. Getting that second success can be surprisingly difficult, same is true of 'Prescience'. It is an amazing power though, provided you can pull it off.

Yeah, it reliably eats up five dice, and more if you really want it to go off. When you've got to consider where you might need force, hammerhand, prescience or any other psychic powers, then it can be really tough choice.

Oh its still the first thing I cast normally. The look on your opponents face when you're like 'yeah if this goes off you will have to throw all your dispel at it' is priceless. 'Cleansing Flame' is absurdly good if you're deep in enemy lines, I'm reliably mauled or killed 3-4 units with it before I've even shot or charged anything with the Purifiers.

Once you're in melee or charge range though, yeah I generally don't cast it, as it can reduce your charge range.

I googled the rules because you were of no help what so ever smile.png

If you really did this and it's not another fib, then I accomplished what I set out to do. You figured things out! All by yourself! Good job. I'm glad I could be your inspiration.

(This is the part where you thank me.)
