Daemon Prince, What to do?

Recommended Posts

I meant from a gaming point of view, is it much of a drawback?

I plan on using the daemon prince kit to make Tim curry from legend, having watched the film the other night.

Just wondered how much it'll hurt in game if he's foot slogging and only has His daemon save?

Any tips on how to use him?

I was thinking of modifying a blood letter head, green stuffing a chin and nose on there. Unless you have suggestions forte? I know you're good at this kind of thing ;)

I'd not thought of using a daemon ally to get extra options, will have to take a look at that. Will mean getting a squad of blood letters too but I'm sure I could cope with that.

Now there's a thought! Thanks for the input. Gonna need to find a unicorn horn for him as well.

Now, suggestions on how to play him? Will be looking at the daemon ally option, but what can I use him as? Just a distraction?

Guo?? If you explain it jeske I'll consider it :)

Looked at the codex daemon rules, 2 greater rewards and a lesser reward to swap for an axe of khorne, with mark of khorne, just over 200 points. The greater rewards will more than likely beef up his survivability (unless I roll the only two that buff offensive)

Squad of blood letters for the price of a helbrute and I can ds the lot as one squad.

Should be good for a laugh if nothing else.

Now to see if there's an cheap balrogs on eBay ;)

Thanks ism, I could just give him actual wings, it would fit better than a disc or thrusters, I just wanted to make a model based on the lord of darkness from the film legend. He doesn't have wings so didn't really want to give him them

I could give him a tramp stamp while I'm at it ;) Lol.

Nice thinking uprising, wonder how well that'll 'fly' at pick up games in store. I guess I'll either have to give him wings for reals or just have a daemon that can't fly ;)

Cheers forte, I'm not a fan of nurgle so will rule that out, I know they have the best rules but i can't do it.

GUO is just a set of rules to use with any more or less same sized no recast model[assuming you play in an official place].

You must understand that there isn't realy a good way to run a DP model as a DP without wings[power armor is not mandatory].

Also nothing says that all demons or demon Princes[as opposed to mortals upgraded to demon princes] have to look the same. The biggest champion of khorn is a huge bronze block that goes up and down and crushs people/demons/etc[in fact khorn worshipers see it as a blessing to be crushed by him].
