airinhere
Greetings. I am a long time WH40K fan dating back from the old Rogue trader days. My first army was an Ultramarine force made up of some metal minis and the old plastic marine box sets. After that I headed into a chapter creation of my own. I collected a complete company of space marines including a list of rhino variants. As I entered College I started collecting Tyranid (3rd ed) and built up a impressive army, but failed to finish them off with a proper paint scheme. Now, a decade later I found a resurgence of interest in modeling and painting my armies. I even tossed in a skirmish force of Necron just so my Marines would have something different to fight with. Currently I live on an island paradise and love each day exploring the coral reefs surrounding the island I now call home. However in the evenings I return to my home and have found this wonderful forum loaded with skilled modelers and overflowing with interesting fluff for the WH40K setting. I have recently remodeled my entire marine force into a Knights of Blood chapter (3rd company) and am steadily improving my painting skills. Even my Tyranids and Necrons have enjoyed the fruits of my renewed hobby. I moved across the United States and down to Grand Cayman dragging a large force of miniatures from my childhood with me. These are my only long term possession from my youth and somehow they have managed to follow me this far. I am very happy to have found a community that shares my fascination with these tiny sculpts and the game they are designed for.
